Zelienople - His/Hers [Type Recordings - 2007]

His/Hers is a wonderful lost and haunted take on slowly unwinding /hazy guitar craft that mixes together touches of folk, the blues, & rock  into it’s  sludgy dream or drug soaked atmosphere.

The songs hazy pace are often emotional mumbled over  by a strung-out and world weary Neil Young like tones that just seemly appear  in and out of the songs mists. This is music that seems birthed from half awaken/druged states, where one like drifts through autumn crisp cornfields, or  hazy sunlit and slow monition leaf  falling forest, or monochrome swamps that just weave on and on through timeless countryside, with seemly no other life present. This is music to slip back into and get dragged down into letting your self be hypnotized by it’s on the edge of deep slumber vibe. On offer are five tracks that mostly nudge towards the ten minute mark, which work fine on their but really kicking into high stoned wonder as one long hazy trip.

His/Hers is perfect to loose one self into, staring off into the middle distant with half closed eyes feeling the wonderful slow decline of the world around you.
