Torturing Nurse - Fade Away But Not Ending [Tic - 2008]Fade away But not ending is made of two half an hour long tracks of seething, psychedelic and shifting noisescapes that utilizes electronics, guitar, sampled and mashed music elements. Often bringing to mind CCCC work at their more focused and varied. The first track iwilllive has the most variation and textural change in it’s sound storm as it users: electronics, guitar sampled and mashed music elements. With the track twisting, turning, bending and boiling down all manner of noisy avenues and intersections going from flaming and scalding walls of electro noise tone, to manic pile up of jagged guitar soloing tone, to overloaded/ brutalized easy listening and Asian pop walls of sound. And though the other track here runstoxandu only users electronics and voice it still shifts and boils in a rewarding manner going from; overloaded and quirky electro tone meets bizarre operatic noise vocalising, to moan banks of feedback and running/ accelerating electro attacks. Really there is never a dull or uncreative moment on display here in either of these two tracks as Torturing Nurse just keeps churning, boil and mixing in new elements to the noisy and singeing stew of sounds.
