Final Solution - All New Power [Chrome Peeler Records/Hospital Productions - 2010]

Chrome peeler records along with Hospital productions have re-released here an early 90's demo from American Power Electronics group Final Solution entitled "All new power".

The assault is harsh, heavy and angry as “All new power” begins with thunderous static wall armed with vicious feedback and layered electronics creating a grinding synthesizer background that muffles William Bennet-esque vocals buried beneath the cringing howls of oscillating vacuums of noise. E.J. Vodka’s extreme vocals appear as the background goes from Chris Yustanach and the late Greg Scott’s static storm into vacuum-like oscillation and repeatedly strikes your ears like a battering fist.

The next track ‘Kill Mode’ is slower paced raw edgy track that has a a bass driven texture and television-like static as a background for more vocal focused qualities. The lack of excitement could be overlooked to simply enjoy the raw angry qualities of the track. Turning the tape over to the second side for another two tracks beginning with ‘Pussy Ripper’ which is in similar fashion a layering of harsh electronics with screamed vocals over it, however the vocals in this track are the overpowering attribute. Incredible screeched words and intensified high pitched yells end abruptly after a few statements from this pissed off American power electronics unit.

The tape ends with a violent track ‘death machine’ which fittingly sounds very engine like with sputtering bursts of harsh noise and bass driven synthesizer. Ultimately I can say that the formula used throughout this tape works for this group as the other tracks I’ve heard from them are similar without losing their edge. I can only make out some of the words which left me really interested to find out what the lyrics to some of these tracks are as they are quite crude and aggressive. The tape itself comes in a standard cassette jewel case and the insert is a copy of the original black and white xeroxed  artwork of a woman’s figure tied at the hands.
