| American black metallers INQUISITION have just announcing the reissue of their full album catalogue exclusively via Season of Mist. All the reissues will come with new artwork by the renowned artist Paolo Girardi, who already created the cover art for the bands latest album 'Obscure Verses For The Multiverse' (2013). The original art work for each album will be included as well. Girardi's covers are part of an overarching concept and should be seen in conjunction. The first reissue comes in the form of the bands cult debut album 'Into The Infernal Regions Of The Ancient Cult', which was originally released in 1998. | Big Joy is a music festival that, in its 2nd year, will be showcasing current experimental acts in Vancouver, BC. We are presenting four shows over four evenings from Wednesday December 3rd to Saturday December 6th at Kokopelli, The Toast Collective and The Remington Gallery. We're hoping to present a broad spectrum of what Vancouver's weirdo music scene has to offer, encompassing everything from drone and harsh noise, through to ambient and electronic music. Vancouver has a thriving underground music scene that we feel is underrepresented and hope to model this festival after Montreal's Suoni Per Il Popolo, New York's No Fun, Seattle's Debacle Fest and other left of centre music events. Each event will feature a mix of genres, styles and musicians in a cohesive and fluid manner. Festival passes will be sold through local record stores and retailers and will cost $35. Individual show tickets will be purchased at the door for $8-$15 depending on the show. | Psychic Field Recordings have arranged a day of sonic & visual horror in the form of "Unearthing Forgotten Horrors 2014". Here’s the press release for the event: Much like last year we have scoured the shady backstreets of Europe in search of some of the most bizarre, obscure and interesting horror inspired wizards of sound. The line-up features: Aderlating, Kemper Norton, Fordell Research Unit, Joseph Curwen, The Soulless Party, Chonyid, Emily Jones, Aetheric Anomalies, Septimus Keen, Colugo, The Equestrian Vortex and Church Burner This year's films are the underappreciated Freddie Francis gem "Mumsy, Nanny, Sonny and Girly" and Ken Weiderhorn's "Shockwaves" starring the legendary Peter Cushing. As well as all of this there will be an interactive Unearthing Forgotten Horrors art project featuring local artists.
