Rééducation - Tout Oublier Pour Tout Reapprendre(Infinity series [Sweet Solitude - 2012]“Tout Oublier Pour Tout Reapprendre” (roughly translated to forget any re-learning) is the 16th release in the Infinity series- an identical artwork based collection of releases put out by Uk based Sweet Solitude label. Each volume sees a different worldwide HNW act attempting ambient and experimental forms of walled noise. This release features a single near on hour long track that boils up a mixture of guitar drone textures with harsh noise wall to create a huge pounding, throbbing & brooding wall of sound. Rééducation is a HNW/drone/ experimental project from the east coast of France. The project has been going since 2010, so far the project has put out two full length CDR’s, a downloadable album & a EP. The single self titled track on offer here is built around approaching then receding mixture of undulating walled noise & guitar drone texturing. The track starts off quite guitar drone based with billowing then noise accelerated tone ebb & sears. As the track progresses more walled noise texturing is added into the mix, building up a denser/ swirling wall of sound. Then around the twenty minute mark the sound starts to ebb & thin out into a locked induslized wall of slightly churning noise- for most of the rest of the track it locks down into this 'wal'l like churning, that keeps feeling like it will thin out fully yet never does. Things start to turn nasty again in the last seven or so minutes as first we get thrown high pitchd drone sustains, then machine noise meet guitar drone roasts. All told it’s an effective enough guitar drone walled noise cross-breed, it just rather lacks anything special or memorable in it’s make-up. Meaning when you’ve played it a few times it does really inspire you to return to it again.(afternote: I've just been told that there is no guitar on this track, and instead a Flute is been used ...through it still sounds very guitar like to me!)
