Murderous Vision - Life’s Blood Death's embrace [Live Bait Recording Foundation - 2006]Life’s Blood Death's embrace ushers us into blood splattered corridors, creepy rocking figures. This is dark ambience with death industrial tendency and grim classical string samples. It’s a world of slow moving mildew heavy synths , creaking and murky rhythmic tracks. Apocalyptic , biblical and anti Christian text are read in a very stern and sinister manner here and there over the top Each track is packed the top with dread filled tones, from weaving doomed synth curdles that seem to echo on and on , to synthesized dark majestic string work, to black church organ pump, barely moving evil harpsichord waltzes, to all manner of creepy vocal sighs. Screams and moans from the abyss, bone percussion skeleton solder marches, strange ritual parades by blood and entrails covered peoples through rock carved tunnels. This feels like music for the end time, the deeper you get into the album structure, the deeper you seem to sink into it’s treacle like doomed tones. This feels like the soundtrack to what would happen after the end of John Carpenters Into the mouth of madness, as apocalypse and the four horseman rides and rip through are streets and our bodies and souls. They managed to keep the atmospheric wonderful grim focused though out never let the listener get to lighter, less dread chocked territories. Though hardly the most original thing you’ll come across, it more than makes up for it with the ocean deep dark vibe. To sample this prime slice of end times horror scapes fall into this abyss.
