Death To Dynamics - Still Nothing [Death To Dynamics - 2024]Still Nothing is a just under the half-an-hour example of greyly numbing and low-key industrial churning walled noise from UK’s Death To Dynamics. It’s a ‘wall’ that slowly rages, as it hopelessly drones on- for a decidedly grim & relentless attack. This is a self-released digital affair- cover artwork we have a picture of a wrapped in bandaged corpse, with a bike standing near it- and it looks like the picture was taken in a garage. I suspect it’s a film still- though I can’t recall what from. The releases can be found just here
The single untitled track rolls in at the 26.55 mark. The ‘wall’ is constructed around a distant rumbling & lightly baying drone- this topped and blended with a persistent galloping knock, rolling git, and possibly the occasional hazed judder. The whole ‘wall’ has an effective feeling of numbing entrancement about it- and at moments it appears there may be some subtle shifts in the texture, but I suspect the whole thing is relatively set.
Still Nothing is an appealingly hazed and glum wall battering. The cover artwork is well selected adding a layer of ghoulish mystery to the proceedings. So another, worthy release from Death To Dynamics Roger Batty
