Sissy Spacek - s/t [Toniks - 2006]This really is the true relizalation of Punk noise , forget Digital hardcore, that’s a gentle walk in park compaired with this. Sissy Spacek literally rip your head off and shit down your neck, with fiery discontent. 78 track in 22 minutes, of mass digital over load, rhythmic burns, sounds they may once have been vocals, ripping burn holes in your head, there’s so many ideas and so much nastiness in these 22 minutes, it’s difficult to comprehend. Original released in 2001 on Helicopter, here it’s been reissued by Toniks. So every one now,can be vigorously slapped about by this masterpiece and get seriously head screwed, by it’s chaotic jump cut twists and turns. One second you’ll been pounded by looped walls of static, the next bounced back and forth by overloaded drums, the next cowering in the corner as looped level ten vocals drill into your mind. I haven’t come across something so adrenalin fired and dangerous since old hardcore records. The amount of work must have gone into this is astonishing , it’s like every things been shrunk, intensified by 100 % then brutal stuffled into 22 minutes. There are a few seconds, where it drifts in airless sinister calmness, but very soon your throw down the stairs once more. A work of audio art in every sense of the word, a lesson in noise terror of the highest level. But beware strap your self into your chair or rope your self to the door, cause this is real chaos, you have been warned.
